The Personal Plum
opened its doors in April of 1993. Having two young children always being invited to
birthday parties, I ran out of ideas for gifts. The Personal Plum, a children's gift shop, started
out with gifts for children's birthday parties and favors for guests.
Next, we expanded our inventory to newborns and created a store with Children in Mind.
We have gifts ranging from babies to preteens with selected items for discerning adults
who appreciate pretty designs and unique accessories.
The Personal Plum offers many designs and colors to choose from, or if you like, custom work is available.
We take pride in our work, and we try to please every customer whether the order is large or small.
We believe in old-fashioned service and up-to-date designs and items for your children.
In June, 2006 our long-time artist, Heather, took over the business. As the main artist, and now
the owner, her quality artwork you have come to love will carry on. Children's murals are her specialty.
The following pages will give you a good idea of what we carry in our store.
